A novel vibrational spectroscopy using spintronic–plasmonic antennas: Magneto-refractive surface-enhanced infrared absorption

We present experimental and theoretical results of the molecular sensing performance a novel platform based on magnetic modulation surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy. For this, we study effect that vibrations PMMA layer have optical magneto-refractive response spintronic antennas. Specifically, periodic array rods is fabricated from giant-magneto-resistance Au/Ni81Fe19 metallic multilayers, depositing top investigated both points view. find relative changes induced by signal are larger than transmission. This result indicates more sensitive to excitation fosters development type an technique antennas: Magneto-Refractive Surface-Enhanced Infrared Absorption (SEIRA) Spectroscopy.
